Why These Books Exist
We all have that quiet fear, one day our child will look in the mirror and not like who they see. One day a bully, a comment, a filtered photo will make them feel “not enough.” We feel helpless and anxious just thinking about it.
That is why I made these two little ABC books.
Please Be You - a whole new ABC starring a cheeky long-haired girl with big yellow sunglasses (yes, she is my daughter on paper). A is for Awesome. C is for Confident. Q is for Quirky. 26 gentle doses of “you are already enough.”
I Am Me - another fresh ABC, this time with a sweet gentle boy and his yellow digger (hello, my son). Same mission: plant self-love and resilience so deep that no bully, no comparison, no pressure to “fit in” can shake it.
These aren’t ordinary ABC books that get forgotten at age 7. They’re little love letters that keep arriving well into adulthood, and honestly, we grown-ups still need them just as much. Because even at 30, 40, 50, we still need to hear “you are enough, exactly the way you are.”
While children trace letters or try and spot the yellow sunglasses, something bigger happens. They learn:
They are beautiful in their own way
It’s okay to be different
The superpower of being different, and much more…
For expat parents raising third-culture kids who never feel they fully belong. For Asian parents who want strength without “losing face.” For every mum or dad who wants bedtime to end with “I am proud of who I am” instead of tears.
Learning life’s biggest values while learning their ABCs transforms into emotional armour that lasts a lifetime
That’s it. That’s why these books are here.
So our children grow up liking the person they see in the mirror and never have to shrink to fit in.
Grab one, or both, and let’s raise humans who know they are enough, exactly as they are.
With love,
